The client said make the logo bigger, but which logo?
Vague client feedback turns one change into three rounds of email. How to pin down what they actually meant on the real page, and get a clear yes before you build it.
The email says "can we make the logo bigger and the blue a bit more friendly?" There are two logos on the page, four shades of blue and no screenshot. You guess, ship it, and the reply is "not that one".
Vague feedback isn't the client being difficult. They're describing a page from memory, in words, which is hard for anyone. The fix is to stop trading descriptions and start pointing at the page.
What to do
Open the page they're talking about and pin your reading of each request right on the element. "Header logo, 20% larger?" on the header logo. "This button blue, or the link blue too?" on the button. Lasso takes a screenshot of each spot as you go, so there's no ambiguity about what you were looking at.
Then send it back for a yes or no. If your client is on your Lasso team, they can reply on each note. If not, download the PDF report from Export for AI. It has every note with its screenshot, which is exactly the thing a client can tick through on a call or forward to their boss.
Why it works
You turn "make it better" into a short list of specific questions, each with a picture. Clients answer specific questions quickly. And when the change ships, the note gets resolved, so there's a record of what was agreed, which comes in handy when "the logo" comes up again in three months.
Pinned comments plus a PDF with screenshots is the quickest way we know to turn vague feedback into a yes. Lasso's free plan includes both.
