Need the research first? The competitor pricing scenario walks through capturing a competitor’s changes before they disappear, and the comparison pages show how we lay out our own.
Questions people ask
What is a sales battlecard?
A one-page cheat sheet that helps a rep handle a deal against a specific competitor. It covers how the competitor pitches, where they’re strong and weak, the objections reps will hear and how to answer them.
What should a competitive battlecard include?
Their pitch, who they sell to, their strengths and weaknesses, when you tend to win and lose, objections with answers, questions that expose their gaps, and proof like customer stories or numbers.
How often should battlecards be updated?
Whenever the competitor changes pricing, packaging or positioning, and at least every quarter. Stale battlecards are worse than none, because reps stop trusting them.
How do I get the research for a battlecard?
Go through the competitor’s pricing, product and comparison pages and note what matters. Lasso lets you pin those notes on their live pages with screenshots, then export everything for ChatGPT or Claude to draft from.
