Guides · Using Lasso
Find comments in the Lasso web app
The web app shows every collection and comment you have access to. How to use the library, filter by page, person or text, and jump from a comment to the live page.
The side panel only ever shows you one page, the one you're on. Sometimes you want the whole picture, though. That's what app.lasso.team is for. Every collection, every comment and every screenshot, and it opens in any browser, extension or not.
Start with the library
It's the first thing you see after signing in. One row per collection, how many sites are in it, and little avatars for who it's shared with ("Private" if nobody).
Click the arrow at the start of a row and it unfolds to show its sites with a comment count each. Click a site and you're in.
Looking for something specific? The search bar up top matches collection names and page URLs.
Narrowing things down
Once you're inside a collection, the Lasso logo in the middle of the header is secretly a button. Click it and the filters drop down.
You can filter by person, search the comment text, sort oldest or newest, and pick which pages to show. Pages are listed by their title, which is handy on sites where every URL looks the same (hover one to see its path).
Whatever you've picked shows up as little chips above the list. Click the x on one to drop it. Clear all wipes the lot.
Getting back to the real page
Every comment has a Visit button. Click it and the live page opens with the side panel already on that collection, then scrolls down to the comment. Super useful for whoever's doing the fix.
Already on the page? Then just click a card in the side panel. Same deal, the page scrolls to the pin and outlines what it's about.
The bell
New replies, mentions and resolves on anything you're part of show up under the bell in the sidebar. Open the notifications page and the badge clears, and every row there links straight to its comment.

Questions people ask
Do I need the extension to use the web app?
No. The web app works in any browser. You can read, reply, resolve and export there. The extension is what puts the pins on the live page.
Can I search across every collection?
The library search finds collections by name or URL. Inside a collection, the filter panel searches the text of every comment.
Why are some sites lower in the list?
Sites are ordered by their most recent comment, so what you worked on today sits at the top.
